Not at all — new clients are always welcome. Evonne's classes focus on restorative, yin, and gentle practices that are beginner-friendly by design. She offers personalized guidance in every session, meeting you exactly where you are, whether you're brand new to yoga or returning after a long break.
-
Both are slow, floor-based, and deeply calming — but with a different focus. Yin yoga uses long-held passive poses (typically 3–5 minutes) to target deep connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, and joints. It can feel more intense in a quiet, meditative way. Restorative yoga is fully supported with props (bolsters, blankets, blocks) so your body can completely let go — it's about activating the parasympathetic nervous system and deep rest, with zero muscular effort required.
-
Classes never exceed 3 students. Evonne offers private (one-on-one) and semi-private sessions, keeping the experience intimate and highly personalized. This means you get real attention and adjustments — not a generic group class experience.
-
It depends on how you're booking. Members have mats included with their membership. Drop-in clients should plan to bring their own mat. All other props (bolsters, blankets, blocks) are provided for class.
-
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move and lie down in freely — think leggings, yoga pants, or loose-fitting athletic wear. Since restorative and yin sessions involve stillness and relaxation, you may also want to bring a light layer (a cozy hoodie or socks) as your body temperature can drop when you're at rest for extended periods.
